DETROIT - The 2026 campaign will mark the second season of the Warrior Sports Network (WSN) airing audio of football, men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball games on the internet.

Veteran Detroit sports broadcaster Sean Baligian returns for his 18th season calling Warrior football.  Baligian, who has been on the Detroit airwaves since 1998, and was on Fox 2 from 2002-18, will serve as the play-by-play announcer for nine games .  He has also written for The Detroit News and MLive.com.  In October of 2007, Baligian was named Best Radio Sports Talk Host by the Metro Times for the people, places and things that make Metro Detroit great.  He hosted the SportsWrap show on WJR.  In addition, Baligian has worked for USA Hockey and does MHSAA hockey and football.  He also served as the play-by-play announcer for multiple Carolina Hurricanes TV broadcasts.

Former Warrior defensive end Brady Beedon will serve as the color analyst for four games.  He will also handle the Locker Room Report and Senior Spotlight features for the WSN.  In addition, Beedon will serve as the play-by-play announcer for Warrior football games vs. Northwood and at Quincy.  Beedon will also host the Breakdown with Brady Beedon show on Wednesdays prior to a home game at Woodbridge Pub with first-year head football coach Terrence Isaac.  Beedon graduated from WSU in December of 2019 with a degree in broadcast journalism and received membership into the 2020 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society for maintaining over a 3.20 cumulative grade-point average throughout his playing career.  He played in 36 career games, making 11 starts and totaled 40 tackles (26-14), including 10 for loss (7 solo, 6 assisted).  He is tied-for-ninth in school history with two blocked kicks and tied-for-26th with four quarterback hurries.  The last five seasons (2021-2025), Beedon served as the color analyst, while also handling the Locker Room Report and Senior Spotlight interviews.

Kevin Brechmacher, who will return for his 11th season calling the WSU men's basketball games this winter, will serve as a color analyst for four games this fall.  He also co-hosts the Warrior Weekly podcast with Brady Beedon that began airing in January of 2026.

WWJ Afternoon Anchor Tony Ortiz will serve as the sideline commentator during the six home broadcasts.  Ortiz will also be the color analyst for road games at Quincy and Michigan Tech.  He previously served as the sideline reporter for the Comcast CN900 broadcasts of WSU football from 2016 through 2022, as well as the sideline commentator the last three years for Warrior football on FloCollege.

Former Warrior running back and Hall of Fame inductee Josh Renel will return to Hillsdale, the site of the 2011 game in which he rushed for 193 yards and two overtime touchdowns (the second overtime score was the game-winner in a 27-24 Warrior victory), in week two to serve as the color analyst.

Every Wayne State GLIAC football game will be on FloCollege (flocollege.com), plus the home non-conference contests against Northwood and Wisconsin-La Crosse as well as the road game at Hillsdale.  The FloCollege broadcast of home games will be via The PreP for the fourth consecutive year.  The PreP will also handle the FloSports stream for all home volleyball and women's soccer matches this fall, basketball games (both men and women) this winter along with the home baseball and softball games in the spring of 2027.
