Women's Soccer Gameday Themes, Season Tickets and Individual Game Tickets Announced

DETROIT -- The Wayne State University Athletic Marketing department has announced the themes for the inaugural women's soccer season which features eight home games, including seven against GLIAC rivals and the first-ever home match on September 4th against Ohio Dominican.

Friday September 4th - Inaugural Home Game
Be a part of history as Wayne State Soccer hosts its first home match ever! The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative Inaugural Season rally towel while supplies last. Arrive early and help us celebrate the beginning of an era for Wayne State and Warrior Soccer.

Friday September 18th - Gold Out
The Warriors open their home GLIAC schedule with a Gold Out as they welcome conference competition to Wayne State! Show your Warrior pride by wearing gold and help create an unforgettable home-field advantage.

Sunday September 20th - Youth Soccer Day
Celebrate Youth Soccer Day with Wayne State Soccer! Young fans, families, and youth soccer teams from across the area are invited to enjoy an exciting afternoon of Warrior Soccer. Fans will receive a Wayne State Soccer branded stress ball while supplies last.

Friday September 25th - World Cup Night
Relive the excitement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on World Cup Night! Wear your favorite World Cup or national team jersey and help bring the energy of the world's biggest soccer tournament to Warrior Soccer.

Friday October 9th - Homecoming Weekend/Hiliski's Hope
Celebrate Homecoming Weekend with Warrior Soccer! As the Wayne State community comes together for Homecoming, Wayne State Athletics is proud to partner with the Hilinski's Hope Foundation in recognition of Student-Athlete Mental Health Week (October 4–10). Fans can receive stress balls, stickers, temporary tattoos, and other awareness giveaways while supplies last.

Friday October 23rd - Pink Out with Susan G. Komen
In partnership with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Wayne State Athletics & Wayne State Soccer will host their Pink Out game. Members of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer will be present, and the first 100 fans will receive an exclusive pink branded water bottle.

Thursday October 29th - Professors at the Pitch
Join us for Professors at the Pitch as Warrior Soccer student-athletes recognize the faculty members who have made a meaningful impact on their academic and personal success. Selected professors will be honored during a special recognition.

Saturday October 31st - Spooky Soccer
Help us close out the regular season in Halloween fashion! Following the football game, join us for Spooky Soccer by wearing your favorite costume or Halloween colors, and help the Warriors give the competition a scare.
