DETROIT -- Doug Steinard, the inaugural head coach for the Wayne State University women's soccer program, completed his first Warrior recruiting class.  This group consists of three transfers and one freshman, who report this weekend for the inaugural season of WSU women's soccer.  This group includes defenders Adriana Arrasate Pedroarena (Villava, Navarra, Spain [Georgia State]), Gabby Ruffino (Shelby Twp., Mich. / Romeo [Oakland]) and Teagan Sharpe (Commerce, Mich. / Walled Lake Central), along with midfielder Emily Mendrick (Troy, Mich. / Athens [Ashland]).

"We are very excited about our very first recruiting class," remarked coach Steinard.  "It is a group of great kids with lots of talent, character, and commitment.  We believe they will help us compete in our first year of the GLIAC.  The class is a balanced group of players who have a lot of experience playing at a high level, and we're confident they'll make an immediate impact on and off the field as we continue to build our program's foundation."
