QUOTING HEAD COACH GRANT LOFDAHL
"This was a really nice race for the ladies today. We had a few issues with wrong turns and the course not being marked well in spots, but they worked hard and overcame it with a 1-2-3-5-8 finish for our top five runners. Reese, Becca and Paige worked together really well up front and they all finished strong. Great for Reese to get her first collegiate cross country win, and an impressive run for Becca as a freshman. It's great to be undefeated through two meets, but we know the competition gets much tougher in October. The team is progressing very well in training and I'm excited to see them get after it in the big meets next month."
UP NEXT
The Green and Gold will hit the road again, but leave the state this time, to compete in the Louisville Cross Country Classic in Louisville, Ky. on Oct. 3.
