Biography

2020-21:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team ... did not compete in any events ... opted out due to COVID-19.

2019-20:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team ... fenced in seven meets ... finished with a 26-54 record in the saber ... went 5-4 at the Danosi Open (11/17) ... won four bouts at the Notre Dame DeCicco Duals (1/25) ... finished 5-4 at the WSU Duals (2/8) and posted an 8-7 mark at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championships (2/22-23).

2018-19:  Competed in two meets and posted a 4-10 overall record in the saber ... went 2-5 at the Danosi Open (12/2) ... finished 2-5 at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championships (2/23-24).

2017-18:  Appeared in six meets and totaled an overall record 9-23 in the saber with an 0-3 in the foil ... won her first collegiate bout at the Detroit Mercy Invite (1/13) ... went 4-8 at the Notre Dame DeCicco Duals (1/27) ... posted a 4-2 mark at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championships (2/24-25).

High School:  Is a 2017 graduate of Utica High School.

Personal:  Full name-Medina Shuti ... born on October 20, 1999 ... daughter of Kujtim Shuti and Lirije Elezi ... is a Management Information Systems major ... named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (term GPA 3.5+) for Winter 2019 and Winter 2020 ... named to the Coach's Honor Roll (term GPA 3.0-3.49) for Winter 2018, Fall 2019, Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 ... is a member of the WSU Student Leadership Council.
