Biography

2021-22:  SEASON:  Swam in three meets ... helped the 125-yard medley relay team place third (55.69) at Northern Michigan (11/5) … finished third as part of the 200-yard medley relay team (1:37.15) against Northern Michigan (11/6) … swam in five events at the Don Kimble Invitational (11/21).

2020-21:  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Finished eighth in the 200 breast (2:07.62) and 11th in the 100 breast (58.82) ... placed 18th in the 400 IM (season-best time of 4:21.47) and 24th in the 200 IM (2:00.76) ... swam season-best times of 57.49 for 100 breast and 2:06.54 for 200 breast during prelims.  SEASON:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team ... competed in three regular-season meets ... posted a season-best time of 1:59.92 for 200 IM at the SVSU/NMU triangular (2/6) ... 2020-21 recipient of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award.

2019-20:  Joined the Wayne State swimming program in January of 2020 as a graduate transfer with three semesters of eligibility remaining.  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Swam exhibition for the 200 IM (1:57.26), the 100 breast (57.26), and the 200 breast (2:06.56) ... finished the 200 IM time trial in 1:56.96 and the 100 back time trial in 57.25.  SEASON:  Swam the 50 free in 23.30 and the 100 free in 1:03.77 at Saginaw Valley State (1/10) in first meet as a Warrior ... placed fourth in the 100 breast versus Grand Valley State (1/25) ... 2019-20 recipient of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award.
 
Prior to WSU:  Earned a bachelor’s degree in finance in December of 2019 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania …  placed seventh at the 2018 PSAC Championships in the 200 breast (2:06.98) and 12th in the 100 breast (58.80) … also competed in the 50 free and 200 free … finished 10th in the 200 breast (2:08.25) and 13th in the 100 breast (58.52) at the 2017 PSAC Championships … also competed in the 200 IM and 100 fly … redshirted at IUP as a freshman ... earned PSAC Scholar-Athlete recognition two times (2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years).
 
High School:  A 2015 graduate of high school of the State of Kuwait … competed at the summer world championships in Rome in 2017.
