2009-10: Was a First Team All-GLIAC selection … earned GLIAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week twice … was ranked as the seventh best player in the Midwest Region by the ITA on March 30th and with partner Britton Steele as the fourth best doubles team … advanced to the finals of the ITA Midwest Regional Tournament in September … compiled an overall record of 20-4 and a dual match mark of 15-3 (all from the first flight) … His 20 wins are the fifth most singles victories in a season in Wayne State recorded history … registered a doubles record of 17-6 with partners Britton Steele (15-4), Kevin Turnbull (1-1), Oscar Gamarra (1-0) … earned a GLIAC record of 6-1 in singles and 5-2 in doubles …went 1-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles (w/ Steele) at the 2010 GLIAC Tournament … rattled off a 14-match winning streak (Feb. 19-April 11) at No. 1 singles … earned three separate 6-1, 6-1 triumphs … recorded a pair of four-match and one five match winning streak in doubles play during the season … did not lose back-to-back doubles bouts all season … finished the GLIAC regular season with the most conference only wins (6) of any first-flight competitor ... named to the GLIAC All-Academic team.
