Career Notes:
Became only the second person in NCAA men's epee history to win three consecutive NCAA titles since the NCAA began competition in 1941 ... Risto Hurme of New York University was the first in 1973-74-75 ... in 2008 became the third WSU men's epeeist to win back-to-back national titles joining Ettore Bianchi (1984-85) and Gil Pezza (1980-81) ... he was the first NCAA epeeist to win back-to-back national titles since Colulmbia's Jon Normile in 1988-89 … leaves WSU a four-time All-American and as the all-time epee wins leader in school history.

2009-10: Earned Second Team All-American accolades after finishing in seventh place at the NCAA Championships … had a match record of 67-20 … placed fourth at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships … earned medalist honors for the third time in his career at the MFC Championships … also led the epee team to a third place showing at the MFC Championships … won the epee competitions at the Danosi Open and the Remenyik Open.

  2008-09: Won his third consecutive NCAA men's epee national title ... finished the round-robin portion of the competition with a 17-6 mark (+32 in touches) to earn the second seed ... Princeton's Graham Wicas also had a 17-6 record but was +33 in touches to earn the top seed ... defeated No. 3-seed Benji Ungar of Harvard 15-11 in the semifinals, while Wicas edged Ohio State's Jason Pryor 15-14 ... won the Gold Medal bout 15-7 over Wicas ... won the men's epee at the NCAA Midwest Regional at Ohio State ... tied-for-third at the Midwest Fencing Conference championship ... had a 7-0 mark and was +23 in touches during pool play ... in direct elimination bouts, defeated Wisconsin's Gavin Bailey (15-1), Notre Dame's Bill Ehrlich (15-8), Ohio State's Dylan Walrond (15-13) and Notre Dame's Greg Schoolcraft (15-12) before falling in the semifinals to eventual champion Karol Kostka of Notre Dame (15-12) ... helped the fifth-seeded epee team finish third at the MFC Championship ... finished ninth at the Penn State/Garret Open ... won the 2008 Michigan Open ... compiled a 44-5 dual meet record.

2007-08 Won the 2008 NCAA national title with wins over Stanley Vaksman from St. John's 15-8 in a semifinal bout and Penn State[apos]s Arth Urman 15-7 in the national championship bout ... compiled a 15-8 mark (+22 in touches) during round-robin competition at the NCAA Championship ... won the men's epee at the 2008 Midwest Fencing Conference championship then placed fourth at the NCAA Midwest Regional championship.

  2006-07: Captured the 2007 NCAA national title as he defeated Benjamin Bratton of St. John's, 15-13 ... compiled a 17-6 mark (+37 touches) during round-robin competition at the NCAA Championship ... placed eighth at the NCAA Midwest Regional ... won the men's epee at the 2007 Midwest Fencing Conference championship hosted by Notre Dame ... entered the championship as the No. 7 seed, had a 5-0 record in pool play ... defeated Ohio State's Sean Harder, 15-12, before upending another Buckeye, Noam Gill, 15-11, in the quarterfinals ... in the semifinals, he was a 15-10 victor over Notre Dame's Karol Kostka and defeated teammate Marek Petraszek 15-12 in the championship bout ... helped the men's epee squad to a second-place finish at the MFC, falling 5-2 to Ohio State in the championship round ... won the Michigan Open title.
