Biography


2006: Named to the GLIAC All-Academic team for the third straight year ... selected to the All-GLIAC Honorable Mention team ... the only Warrior to start all 58 games (53 3B, 4 P, 1 DP) ... batted second, and fifth through ninth, usually sixth (34 times) ... led the team with two sacrifice flies ... hit .339 (19-56) with runners in scoring position ... made 11 appearances (four starts) in the circle ... hit a solo home run Feb. 24 vs. West Georgia ... pitched four hitless innings of relief in win over Shippensburg on March 12 ... surrendered just two hits in five innings in a victory against Gannon on April 8 ... twice recorded seven strikeouts (Feb. 24 at Alabama-Huntsville and April 8 vs. Gannon) ... opponents hit just .174 (15-86) with runners on base ... had an RBI single in the top of the eighth that snapped a 2-2 tie giving WSU a win at Oakland on April 25 ... drove in the only run in 1-0 win at Ferris State on April 28 ... pitched two innings of scoreless relief vs. Gannon in the GLIAC tournament allowing WSU to come-from-behind for the win ... after allowing a leadoff single to GLIAC Player of the Year Joanna Fergus, she retired the next six batters including three on strikeouts ... had two three-hit games (March 18 vs. Northwest Missouri State and April 18 vs. Hillsdale) and 10 two-hit contests ... drove in two runs in a game three times ... NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete.

2004: Named Honorable Mention All-GLIAC ... selected to the Kennesaw State Owl Classic All-Tournament team ... made 52 starts (29 1B, 12 P, 11 3B) ... batted second, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth ... hit .312 (20-64) with runners on base ... recorded a season-high three RBI on Feb. 27 vs. Southern Indiana ... had three multiple-RBI games ... recorded two three-game hitting streaks ... had nine multiple-hit games including four three-hit games (Feb. 29 at Kennesaw State, March 27 vs. SIU-Edwardsville, April 7 at Oakland and April 20 at Findlay) ... hit her first collegiate home run April 12 at Detroit ... on the mound, she tied for team-high honors with five shutouts ... had a WSU season-best 11 strikeouts on March 14 vs. Georgian Court ... held opponents to a .220 batting average to lead the Warrior pitching corps ... tossed shutouts against Lenoir-Rhyne (Feb. 27), Nebraska-Omaha (Feb. 28), Georgian Court (March 14), Southampton (March 17) and Saginaw Valley (April 16) ... named to the GLIAC All-Academic team.

2003: Named to the All-GLIAC First Team as the utility player ... started 46 games (30 3B, 16 P) ... batted sixth, seventh and eighth ... had three hits March 30 at Mercyhurst ... has eight multiple-hit games ... recorded two RBI March 8 vs. Lynn ... had doubles in back-to-back games March 2 against Washburn and March 8 versus Lynn ... struck out a season-high 10 batters at Gannon on March 29 ... shutout Saginaw Valley on April 2, while striking out nine ... also struck out nine batters March 9 vs. Adelphi ... had two doubles in the NCAA Regional at Grand Valley State.

High School: Attended Chatham Kent Secondary School in Ontario and graduated in June 2002 (no varsity softball team at school) ... played summer ball for coach Jim Stonehouse ... pitched perfect game and named to the All-Star team at Nationals in 2002 ... named MVP and led team to a second place finish at the 2001 Provincials ... compiled a 0.64 ERA through 33 innings at the 2000 Provincials ... was a member of the OFSSA volleyball silver medalists in 2000-01 and 2001-02 ... spent three months in Caen, France, as an exchange student while in grade 11.
