Career Notes: Ended his collegiate career as Wayne State’s all-time leader in hits (279), runs scored (195), doubles (50), total bases (386), games played (200), and at bats (696) … posted a .401 career batting average, second only to Hall of Famer Ronald Teasley (1945, 1947) who had a .415 average … became the only player in Wayne State history to hit .400 or better three times in a career … finished his senior year ranked second all-time in RBI (145) and extra-base hits (72), third in stolen bases (71), fourth in sacrifice flies (10), tied for eighth in triples (9) and tied for ninth in sacrifice hits (15).

2010: Recognized as a Preseason All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association NCAA Division II All-America Committee ... was the only Warrior to start all 52 games (49 RF, 3 CF) … set three Wayne State single-season (hits, runs, at bats) and six career records in 2010 … finished second in the GLIAC in hits (87); third in batting average (.424), runs scored (63), doubles (19) and total bases (131); fifth in slugging percentage (.639); tied for sixth in stolen bases (15); tied for seventh in runs batted in (48) and 10th in on base percentage (.465) … joined Paul LaMantia as the seventh set of teammates in WSU history to hit .400 in the same season … posted the highest single-season batting average since Bob Inman in 1961 (.474) … voted First Team All-GLIAC and ABCA All-Region First Team … also chosen to the Daktronics and NCBWA All-Region Second Teams … selected as WSU’s Top Hitter at the season-end banquet … broke the career runs record with his 135th run Feb. 21 at West Georgia and the hits mark with his 216th hit March 24 against Tiffin … raised his season average nearly 100 points from March 31 to the end of the year, aided by a 10-game hitting streak March 31-April 10, during which he had eight multi-hit games including a pair of four-hit performances … came up a single short of the cycle with five RBI April 3 against Northwood … put together a career-long 16-game streak, the longest by any Warrior during the season, April 17-May 13 … drove in a career-best six runs May 8 against Ashland in the GLIAC Tournament championship game, homering twice as WSU came from behind to win … batted .500 (9-for-18) with nine RBI and seven runs scored in the postseason … led Wayne State with 28 multiple-hit games and was third with 13 multiple-RBI games ... named to the GLIAC All-Academic team ... 2007: Named to the Daktronics All-North Central Region Second Team as an outfielder ... earned All-GLIAC Honorable Mention accolades in addition to being named GLIAC Freshman of the Year ... received a Rawlings/ABCA North Central Region "Golden Glove" award for outstanding defense ... was presented with the "Gary Chapp" Spirit Award at WSU's year-end team banquet in recognition of his dedication, hard work, and desire to put the team's needs above his own ... played in 49 games, started 42 (41 RF, 1 CF) ... served as the primary leadoff hitter in the second half of the season ... led the Warriors (seventh in the GLIAC) in batting average (.406) and stolen bases (16, sixth in the GLIAC), and finished second on the team in runs scored (45) as well as fourth in hits (58), on-base percentage (.447), and slugging percentage (.524) ... reached base as the leadoff hitter 24 times in 46 chances (.522) ... tied for the second-most multiple-hit games on the team (19), including six three-hit games, and the most sacrifice bunts (6) ... posted three straight two-hit, two-run games March 12-14 ... drove in a season-high four runs April 6 versus Findlay ... put together an 11-game hitting streak during which he hit .488 (20-41), raising his season average from .360 to .407 ... went 8-for-14 (.571) in the final series of the year May 5-6 against Gannon, stealing six bases including three in the first game ... selected to the 2007 All-Canadian College Third Team by the Canadian Baseball Network ...
