Biography

2016-17: SEASON:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team ... participated in all eight meets … notched fastest times of the season in the 100 breast (1:08.80), 200 breast (2:34.44) and 500 free (5:30.95) at the EMU Invite (12/3).

2015-16:  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Participated in the 50 free (31.46) and 100 breast (1:07.76) with her top times of season … also swam an exhibition time in the 200 breast (2:33.27).  SEASON:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team … competed in seven meets … posted a season top time in the 200 breast (2:32.46) at the EMU Invite (12/4).

2014-15:  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Competed in three events ... swam the 50 free in 31.94 ... finished the 100 breast with her top time of the season (1:08.92) and the 200 breast with a time of 2:34.80.   SEASON:  Swam in six meets ... top regular season times in the 200 free (2:08.02) vs. Calvin (11/14), 50 breast (32.80) at Oakland (11/1), 100 breast (1:09.22) and 200 breast (2:31.58) against Grand Valley State (1/10).

2013-14:  Competed in eight meets ... swam exhibition times in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.87), 200 breaststroke (2:28.63) and 200 freestyle (2:01.02) at the GLIAC Championships ... top times include 5:34.03 in the 500 freestyle at Eastern Michigan Invitational (Dec. 7) and 59.10 in the 100 freestyle vs. Ashland (Nov. 16) ... posted 200 freestyle time of 2:05.55 in first collegiate meet at Calvin/Olivet Nazarene meet (Nov. 8).

High School:  Graduated from South Lyon in 2013 ... lettered four years in swimming for the Lions and coaches John Burch and Ryan Fulkerson ... helped lead squad to conference titles in 2011 and 2012 ... earned fourth place in 100 breaststroke at the conference meet in her junior and senior seasons ... earned all-state honors as part of the 200 medley (sixth place) and 200 freestyle relays (tied-for-sixth place) at the 2012 MHSAA Division 1 state finals ... named Most Improved in 2010 and Most Dedicated Senior in 2012 ... top times of 1:09.1 in 100 breaststroke, 56.0 in the 100 free and 24.9 in the 50 free ... voted as a captain as a senior ... also lettered in track and field for two seasons.
