2016-17: NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS: Earned Honorable Mention All-American recognition … swam the third leg of the 200 free relay that placed 16th in 1:21.87.
 GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS: Finished seventh in the “B” final (15th overall) in the 50 free (20.89), and was the runner-up in the “B” final (10th overall) in the 100 free, logging a time of 45.72. SEASON: Competed in all eight meets … recorded a top-five finish, and notched a season-best (21.68) at Oakland (10/29) … set top time (47.69) of the season in the 100 free at the EMU Invite (12/3).

2015-16:  SEASON:  Competed in four meets before suffering a season-ending injury … won the 50 free in 21.56 versus Oakland (10/31) … finished first in the 50 free with a time of 21.41 at Ashland (11/7) … placed second in the 100 free (47.89) at AU … garnered second-place finishes in both the 50 free (21.56) and 100 free (47.63) at Calvin (11/20).

2014-14:  NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Two-time First Team All-American ... finished off the national title-winning 200 freestyle relay, which set a national record of 1:18.89 ... won another national title in the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:26.17 ... finished 15th in 800 freestyle relay in a time of 6:58.62.  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Member of three title-winning relays ... swam the closing leg of 200 medley relay, which won with a time of 1:27.89 ... swam third leg of 200 freestyle relay that won in a time of 1:20.89 and swam second leg of 400 freestyle relay that won with a time of 2:59.03 ... finished third in the 50 free as he posted a 20.79 ... finished fifth in the 100 free with a time of 45.87 ... also competed in the 100 back and finished in a time of 54.27.   SEASON:  Swam in seven meets ... posted regular season-best times in the 50 free (21.55), the 100 free (48.28) vs. Findlay (1/16) and the 200 free (1:52.62) against Calvin (11/14).

2013-14:  Competed in eight meets ... swam exhibition times in the 50 freestyle (21.06) and 200 freestyle (1:45.19) at the GLIAC Championships ... top regular-season times of 47.67 in the 100 freestyle and 21.65 in the 50 freestyle at Eastern Michigan (1/24) ... posted time of 21.99 in the 50 free vs. Grand Valley (1/11).

High School:  A 2013 graduate of Mattawan High School ... swam and lettered all four years for the Wildcats and coach Rachel Flachs ... competed in the Division 2 state finals in both his junior and senior seasons ... top times in 50 free (22.13) and 100 free (48.53) at the 2012 state finals ... earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior ... named team MVP as a senior ... selected National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association Academic All-American ... also a three-year letterwinner in baseball, earning all-conference and academic all-state accolades his junior season.
