Biography

2017-18:  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Helped the 200 medley relay to an All-GLIAC second place finish (1:42.96) and an NCAA B-cut ...  earned eighth place in the 100 back (57.96) ... finished 10th in the 100 fly (57.70) and 11th in the 200 back (2:06.16) ... placed 15th in the 50 free (24.56).  SEASON:  Competed in six meets ... helped the 200 yard medley relay to a first place finish (1:51.65) against Ashland and Tiffin (11/3) ... was a member second place 200 medley relay (1:51.44) at Calvin (11/17).

2016-17:  NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS: A two-time First Team All-American … swam the third leg in the 200 medley relay (1:41.01) and 400 medley relay (3:44.73) taking third and sixth, respectively. GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS: Swam the third leg on two GLIAC champion teams in the 200 medley relay that posted a time of 1:40.92 and 400 medley (3:44.63) … took fifth in the 100 fly (57.28) … finished as the runner-up in the “B” final (10th overall) of the 100 back (56.66) … recorded a third-place finish in the “B” final (11th overall) of the 200 back (2:05.32). SEASON: Participated in all eight meets … notched a season-best in the 200 IM (2:22.73) versus Ashland (11/5) … recorded top times in the 100 back (57.78), 100 fly (48.92) and 200 back (2:10.71) at the EMU Invite (12/3) … posted fastest time of the season in the 50 free (25.81) against Findlay (1/13).

2015-16:  NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Earned one First Team All-American accolades after finishing third in the 200 medley relay (1:40.49).  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:   Member of the first-place 200 medley relay team (1:43.25) … finished eighth in the 100 fly with a time of 57.88 … notched a 15th-place finish in the 100 back (58.43) … also competed in the 200 back and 200 fly.  SEASON:  Competed in seven meets … recorded top times in the 50 back (27.97) at Calvin (11/20), 50 free (25.85) and 100 back (58.80) at the EMU Invite (12/4) and the 50 fly (26.89) against Findlay (1/15).

2014-15:  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Competed in four events ... swam a 24.74 in the prelims of the 50 free ... finished the 100 back finals in 57.85, placing eighth ... finished eighth in the 100 fly with a time of 57.67 ... finished ninth in the 200 back with a time of 2:05.42.  SEASON:  Swam in seven meets ... recorded top regular season times in the 50 free (26.61) and 200 back (2:13.72) at the Eastern Michigan Invitational (12/5), 100 back (59.77) and 100 fly (1:00.10) vs. Grand Valley State (1/10) and 50 fly (27.65) against Findlay (1/16).

High School: Graduated from Holland High School in 2014 ... was a four-year varsity letterwinner ... nominated All-Conference, All-Area, All-State and All-American every year and captain senior year ... swam for Don Kimble and Bryon Center Aquatics ... was a part of the National Art Honors Society.
