Nijah Russell's WSU TFRRS Meet-By-Meet Results

2018-19:  INDOOR:  Competed in four of the first five meets ... recorded season-bests in the long jump (5.05m) and 200m dash (26.38) at the Jet's Pizza Invite (1/26) ... had a season-best time of 7.89 for 60m at the Mastodon Opener (12/1).  OUTDOOR:  Lone meet was at Cincinnati's Nikoloff Invite (4/6) ... had a career-best mark of 5.05m for the long jump ... also competed in the 4x100m relay (49.13).

2017-18:  INDOOR:  Competed in one of two meets during the fall semester ... set personal-best times for 60m (7.75) and 200m (26.28) at the Oiler Opener (12/9).  OUTDOOR:  Did not compete in any meets.

2016-17:  INDOOR:  Competed in the first five meets ... best times for both 60m (8.03) and 200m (26.50) took place at the Oiler Opener (12/9).  OUTDOOR:  Participated in five meets, including the GLIAC Championships … led off the 4x100m relay which took second at the Cumberlands Invitational (4/7) … set personal bests in both the 100m (12.23 - w) and 200m (24.93 - w) at the GLIAC Championships … placed sixth in the 200m (25.04) at the GLIAC Championships.

High School:  A 2016 graduate of Dowagiac High School ... was a four-year letterwinner for coach Corey Hill ... received all-state honors three different years (2013, 2015 and 2016) ... earned All-Wolverine Conference accolades all four seasons for the Chieftains ... won both the 100m (in a personal best time of 12.56) and 200m at the Benton Harbor/St. Joseph Rotary Meet ... set a personal best of 25.89 for 200m in winning the race at the 2016 MHSAA Regional Championship ... placed fifth in the state for 200m as a senior ... competed in both the 100m and 200m at the MHSAA Division 2 state championship as a junior ... placed fifth in the 100m at the 2013 state championship with a time of 12.57 ... holds school records for both 100m and the 4x100m relay ... also lettered in basketball at DHS ... was a three-year Honor Roll student ... link to high school results.
