Tristen Jorah joined the Wayne State University baseball in December of 2021 as a volunteer assistant coach.  Jorah, who is currently enrolled in the Wayne State University School of Social Work Graduate program with a concentration in Interpersonal Practice, assisted with instruction and academic support during the Winter 2022 semester.

The Warrior baseball program posted a 3.45 term GPA for the Winter 2022 semester wtih 29 of 35 student-athletes earning Academic Honor Roll recognition (term GPA of at least 3.0).

Jorah played in 171 games for the Green & Gold and was a three-time GLIAC All-Academic Team selection.  The shortstop was an All-GLIAC honoree in 2018.

Jorah was a 2015 graduate of Stevenson High School and was a three-year letterwinner for the Titans.  He is the son of David and KaRie Jorah and has one sister, Tiera.  Jorah graduated in 2019 with a Kinesiology degree from WSU.  He was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Term GPA 3.5+) for Fall 2015, Fall 2016 and Fall 2018, and the Coach's Honor Roll (Term GPA 3.0-3.49) for Winter 2017, Fall 2017, Winter 2018 and Winter 2019.
