High School:  A 2014 graduate of Portage Central ... was a three-time letterwinner for the Mustang baseball team and coach Paul Schneider ...  helped Portage Central win the league title in 2013 and 2014 and hit .397 with 22 stolen bases in 2013 ... was an All-Conference selection in 2012 and an All-Conference First Team and All-District First Team selection in 2013 ... was awarded the Gold Award in high school (3.9+ GPA) his first three years ... played under coach Brian Kalczynski and Midwest Elite in the summer of 2014 and hit .385 while helping the team to a 26-7-2 record ... an accomplished football athlete, serving as a team captain in 2013 as well as being named a All-Conference First Team quarterback, and offensive Team MVP while the Mustangs came one game away from the state title game ... also lettered in football on three occasions.
