Samantha Koehler was named head cheerleading coach at Wayne State University in the fall of 2017, and will embark on her fourth year in the fall of 2020.
A 2008 graduate of Dearborn High School, Koehler has served as a cheerleading coach for Dearborn Little League, Walled Lake Western High School, Livonia Stevenson High School and Plymouth High School. She was a CCCAM (Competitive Cheer Coaches Association of Michigan) District Coach of the Year in 2016.
Koehler earned a liberal arts associates degree from Washtenaw CC in 2011.
Her and her husband, Justin, are the proud parents of Paisley.
