Jacob Clark joined the Wayne State University football coaching staff in the summer of 2022. 

He served as a graduate assistant coach working with the offensive line in his inaugural season with the Warriors.  Offensive tackle Blake Bustard earned First Team All-GLIAC recognition in 2022 as well as Honorable Mention All-America accolades from the Don Hansen Football Committee.  In addition, nine of his student-athletes garnered Academic All-GLIAC honors, including five on the Excellence Team (cumulative GPA 3.5+).

Clark, who earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Albion College in 2021, was a two-time member of the Leadership Council.  He is currently pursuing a master's degree from WSU in Sports Administration.

A five-year (2017-2021) member of the Britons football team as a running back, Clark rushed for 518 yards and a team-high four touchdowns on 135 carries in 2021.  He also caught six passes for 74 yards, including a 30-yard touchdown reception against Olivet.  Clark tallied a season-best two rushing touchdowns vs. Alma as AC won the MIAA title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

He rushed for a career-high 174 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries at Kalamazoo in 2019.  He also rushed for 118 yards and four touchdowns vs. Adrian that same season.  Clark had three 100-yard rushing efforts in just nine contests in 2019, and finished the year with 512 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns.

In 2018, he had 21 tackles (14 solo, 7 assisted), including a career-high eight tackles (5-3) at Trine.  Clark also had two kickoff returns for 43 yards.

As a true freshman in 2017, Clark had six carries for 18 yards, while appearing in three games.
