Dr. Brianna Hendra joined the Wayne State University athletic department in August of 2026 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.
Hendra earned a bachelor's degree in Science - Athletic Training from the University of Michigan in 2014, a master's degree in Pyschology in 2018 from California Southern University, and a doctorate degree in Athletic Training from Moravian University in 2023.
Currently, she is in the process of completing a master's degree in Sports Psychology from Moravian University.
Hendra previously spent two years as an Athletic Trainer for Wayne-Westland Community Schools and nine years as an Athletic Trainer for Corewell Health. She additionally spent time at Mercy Health in Toledo, Ohio, working as an Athletic Trainer for 18 months.
A native of Santa Clarita, Calif., Hendra currently resides in Wayne, Mich., with her husband Andrew.
