Former Warrior football standout Landin Mitchell joined the Wayne State University strength and conditioning staff in the summer of 2022 as a graduate assistant, and will spend his second year in that capacity during the 2023-24 academic year.

Mitchell, who was a two-time First Team All-GLIAC honoree, started all 22 games at left tackle in his two seasons (2019 and 2021) at WSU, and was inducted into the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society

2017:  Played in all 11 games for Davenport, starting nine times ... made seven starts at right guard, and one start each at right tackle (vs. Saginaw Valley State) and left tackle (Wayne State).

2016:  Played in three contests as a back-up tight end for the Panthers against St. Xavier, Saint Francis (Ill.) and Saint Francis (Ind.).
