Andy Dold joined the men's basketball staff in September of 2017 as a volunteer assistant coach. The 2019-20 campaign will be his third assisting head coach David Greer.
Dold was a four-year letterwinner for the Warriors from 1998 to 2002. More recently, he served as the head coach at Dearborn Divine Child from 2007 through the spring of 2017.
He helped lead the Falcons to their first district championship in 16 years and first regional championships in 19 years in 2011. He was named the CHSL Central Coach of the Year in 2007-08 and CHSL AA Coach of the Year in 2012 and 2017. Following the 2011 season, Dold was named Detroit News All-Metro West Coach of the Year.
He played in 71 games during his Tartar/Warrior and tallied 147 points, 61 assists and 23 steals in 634 minutes. Dold was a GLIAC All-Academic Team selection in 2000-01. He was part of the 1998-99 team that won 25 games, including a GLIAC regular season and GLIAC Tournament title before participating in the NCAA Tournament.
