Biography

2025-26:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team ... earned Second Team All-GLIAC recognition ... took the next step following his GLIAC Freshman of the Year campaign in 2024-25 ... finished with a season average of 72.52, nearly two strokes better than his redshirt-freshman clip, which was the lowest among Wayne State's entire 11-man roster ... that average included 1,958 total strokes spread out amongst 27 rounds as he was one of just two Warriors (Josh Lahner) to have completed all 27 of the team's rounds ... was the only member of the team to shoot under par eight or more times at 11, while also pacing the squad in rounds in the 60s with six total ... showing ultimate steadiness across the entire campaign, his average score in the fall events (72.5) was the exact same as in his spring appearances (72.5) ... put together a squad-best six top-10 finishes, the best of which was a runner-up effort at WSU's season-opening Glenmoor Fall Invitational on Sept. 8-9 where he carded a four-under 212 (70-69-73) among the field of 72 players ... his five other outings in which he was good enough for the top 10 were a tie-for-third of 47 at the Marshall Masters on Oct. 16 at one over (72), tied-for-fourth of 62 at the Folds of Honor Challenge on Sept. 15-17 at even (213, 74-69-70), sixth of 41 at the GLIAC Championships on April 16-17 at four under (209, 72-69-68), tied-for-sixth of 53 at the Belterra Classic on March 30-31 at three over (216, 74-68-74), and tied-for-seventh of 35 at the Green and Gold's own Motor City Shakedown on Sept. 29-30 at 10 over (226, 77-73-76) ... that 209 tied Grant Ofield's 209 at the Belterra Classic for the lowest 54-hole score of any Warrior for the season ... also among the top 25 for an additional two events, tied-for-12th of 109 at the Findlay Spring Invite on March 23-24 at three under (213, 73-71-69) and tied-for-14th of 117 at Ohio Dominican's Pawleys Island Beach Bash on March 9-10 at seven over (151, 72-79) ... his two other regular finishes included a tie-for-30th of 90 at the Doc Spragg Fall Invitational on Oct. 13-14 at four over (220, 70-74-76), and a tie-for-60th of 100 at the NCAA Midwest/Central Super Regional on May 7-9 at 10 over (226, 71-74-81) ... was the only Warrior to go 3-0 at ODU's Bill Blazer Memorial Match Play on April 11-12, which included dominant head-to-head victories over Thomas More (5&4), Malone (3&1), and the host Panthers (5&4).

2024-25:  Named GLIAC Men's Golfer Freshman of the Year, the program's first since Brendan Seys in 2016-17 ... garnered Honorable Mention All-GLIAC recognition ... earned GLIAC All-Academic Team honors ... finished 2024-25 with a 74.4 scoring average on 1,711 strokes through 23 rounds spread across 10 tournaments ... those 10 events included three finishes in the top 10 and six among the top 25 ... the three top 10 showings included winning (of 110 players) the Ken Venturi Invitational on Oct. 8, placing second of 31 at Wayne State's HawksHead Invitational on Oct. 19-20 and tying-for-sixth of 43 at WSU's Motor City Meltdown on April 14 ... carded his first career round in the 60s with a 69 in round one of the Doc Spragg Fall Invitational on Oct. 14-15, an event in which he tied-for-11th out of 100 players, his next-best finish of the campaign ... that 18-hole score was one of six on the season in which Daily shot below par ... five of his top-25 performances came in his first six events ... aside from three final leaderboards in the top 10 and the tie-for-11th in Ohio, the other two in the top 25 were a tie-for-21st of 74 at the Al Watrous Invitational (Sept. 7-8) and tie-for-25th of 54 at the Motor City Shakedown (Sept. 30-Oct. 1).

2023-24:  Redshirted ... played unaffiliated at the Motor City Shakedown and was on the top of the 22-player leaderboard with a two-under 70.

High School:  A 2023 graduate of Brighton High School ... was a three-year letterwinner and team captain for the Bulldogs ... helped coach Jimmy Dewling's squad win the Kensington Lakes Activities Association (KLAA) championship ... shot a 144 (71, 73) at the 2022 MHSAA Division 1 state championship to tie for second, then tied-for-eighth as a senior with a 147 (73. 74) helping BHS to back-to-back third-place team finishes ... shot 3-under-par 69 to place fourth individually, leading Brighton to a second-place finish at Salem Hills Golf Club in the MHSAA Regional.
