Biography

2025-26:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team ... lowered his season average for the second year in a row as a senior in 2025-26 ... totaled 1,111 shots in his 15 rounds played for a campaign average of 74.1, over two and a half strokes better than the season before ... two of those 15 rounds were in the 60s while five of them were below par ... earned the first Medalist Honor of his career competing on his home course, Marshall Country Club, as part of the Marshall Masters on Oct.16, the team's final tournament of the fall portion of the schedule ... there, he topped the 47-player field with a two-under 69 ... that performance was one of two in which he finished among the top 10, the other being a tie-for-seventh of 35 competitors at Wayne State's Motor City Shakedown on Sept. 29-30 with a 10-over 226 (75-76-75) ... was also good enough for the top 25 at the Glenmoor Fall Invitational, where he tied-for-14th of 72 on Sept. 8-9 with a six-over 222 (78-66-78) and Ohio Dominican's Pawleys Island Beach Bash where he tied-for-19 of 117 on March 9-10 with an eight-over 152 (70-82) ... that 18-hole score of 66 in round two of the team's season-opening event marked his new career low and was just one off the program record last set by Max Leppelmeier in 2022 (first recorded by Tyler LaSerra in 2012) ... also tied-for-30th of 90 at Findlay's Doc Spragg Fall Invitational on Oct. 13-14 with a four-over 220 (73-71-76), and tied-for-47th of 109 at the Findlay Spring Invite on March 23-24 with a six-over 222 (75-71-76), the final event of his collegiate career.

2024-25:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team ... played in five tournaments (11 rounds), three of which resulted in the first top-25 finishes of his career ... the highest of that trio was a tie-for-16th of 50 golfers at the Ashland Spring Invite (3/29-30) with a 222 (+6, 74-70-78) ... tied-for-22nd in each of the two events before that, out of 31 players at the HawksHead Invitational (10/19-20) and among 101 at the ODU Pawleys Island Beach Bash (3/12-13) ... fired a 151 (+7, 74-77) in the first of those two and a 153 (+9, 78-75) in the second ... other two performances were a tie-for-34th of 43 at the Motor City Meltdown (4/14) with a 163 (+19, 79-84) and tie-for-38th of 54 at the Motor City Shakedown (9/30-10/1) with a 156 (+12, 80-76).

2023-24:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team ... played in a trio of tournaments with a scoring average of 77.0 ... placed sixth of 22 golfers at the Motor City Shakedown with a two-over 74 ... also tied-for-72nd of 110 at the Ken Venturi Invitational (81, +10) and tied-for-75th of 130 at the SVSU Spring Invitational (153, 69-84, +9).

2022-23:  Did not compete in any events ... was redshirted.

High School:  A 2022 graduate of Marshall High School ... earned three letters (2019, 2021 and 2022, since the 2020 season was canceled) for the Redhawks and head coach Phil Murphy ... helped Marshall win a league (Interstate 8 Athletic Conference) title during his freshman and junior years ... tied-for-ninth at the 2022 MHSAA Division 2 state finals with a 151 (74, 77) ...received First Team All-State Division 2 honors from the Michigan Interscholastic Golf Coaches Association in 2021 ... won three tournaments as a junior -- the Coldwater Invitational with a 73, the Tom Reynolds Memorial with a 69 and the Onsted Invitational with a 71 ... was the runner-up at the I-8 Conference Championships ... tied-for-fourth at the 2021 MHSAA Division 2 Regionals with a 74 and tied-for-11th at the state finals with a 148 (75, 73) ... competed at the GAM Championships following a 67 at the qualifier event to win medalist honors ... shot a 73 to qualify for the Michigan Amateur Championships ... qualified for the Michigan Junior Amateur with a 72 and shot a 74, 76 at the GAM Junior Invitational ... competed at the MHSAA Division 2 state championships as a freshman and shot a 164 (82, 82).
