Biography

2014-15:  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Was the third leg of the 800 freestyle relay that finished second in a time of 6:53.15 ... swam a 4:41.17 in the 500 free to finish sixth ... posted a 9:59.85 in the 1000 free ... competed in the 1650 free and recorded a time of 16:53.08 ... registered a season's best time of 4:14.08 in the 400 IM during prelims.  SEASON:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team ... swam in six meets ... swam a season's best time of 1:50.13 in the 200 free against Findlay (1/16) ... swam the 500 free at Oakland (11/1) in 5:00.10 ... competed in the 1000 free versus Grand Valley State (1/10) and finished in a time of 10:28.43 ... posted a time of 17:50.35 against Calvin (11/14) in the 1650 free ... swam the 100 IM just once and recorded a 1:02.1 at Oakland (11/1).
 
2013-14:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team ... swam in seven meets ... top season times all came at the GLIAC Championships, where he placed fourth in the 1000 freestyle (9:35.38), sixth in the 500 freestyle (4:39.24), sixth in the 1650 freestyle (16:17.45) and 11th in the 400 IM (4:09.86) ... posted time of 23.65 (relay lead-off) in the 50 freestyle at Oakland (Nov. 15).

2012-13:  Competed in eight meets ... finished sixth in the 1650 free (16:20.25), ninth in the 1000 free (9:43.08) and 13th in the 500 free (4:41.17) at the GLIAC Championships ... top time in 50 free (24.01) vs. Eastern Michigan (Nov. 2) ... top time in 200 free (1:44.42) at Eastern Michigan Invitational (Dec. 1).

High School: A 2012 graduate of Utica Henry Ford II … was a four-year varsity letterwinner and a state qualifier every season for the Falcons, finishing in the top 16 in the 200 and 500 free three straight years … finished second in the 500 free (4:37.06) and eighth in the 200 free (1:43.63) at the 2012 state meet … Macomb County champion in both events in 2011 and 2012 … two-time Macomb County swimmer of the year and three-time MVP … named to USA Swimming 2012 Scholastic All-America team … became the fourth swimmer in USSC club history to qualify for the NCS Junior National Championships in 2011.
