Biography

2014-15:  SEASON:  Swam the lead off led of the 200 medley relay at Oakland (11/1), which finished third in a time of 1:37.68 ... also swam the 50 back (24.69), 100 back (52.92) and helped the 200 freestyle relay to a second-place finish (1:29.75) ... swam lead off for the second-place 400 medley relay team and the 400 freestyle relay at Ashland (11/15) ... competed in the 200 back at the Eastern Michigan Invitational (12/6) and finished with a time of 1:54.04 ... also swam in the 400 free relay, 200 medley relay, 100 back, 800 freestyle relay and 50 free. 

2013-14:  NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS:  A three-time All-American, earning two First Team honors ... joined fifth-place 200 freestyle relay (1:20.45) ... swam third leg of fifth-place 400 freestyle relay (2:57.64) ... finished 10th in the 100 backstroke (1:45.94), placing second in the consolation finals behind teammate Juan David Molina Perez ... placed 26th in the 100 butterfly (50.03).  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Earned GLIAC title, swimming third leg of 400 freestyle relay (2:58.88) that broke meet record ... joined third-place 200 freestyle relay (1:23.03) ... placed third in the 200 backstroke (1:48.64) ... finished seventh in the 100 butterfly (49.36) and 100 backstroke (50.18) ... placed 10th in the 50 freestyle (20.91).  SEASON:  Swam in nine meets ... 1:48.40 in the 200 freestyle at Findlay (Jan. 17).

2012-13:  NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Earned five All-America honors, including two First Team awards ... swam second leg of sixth-place 800 free relay (6:38.93) ... led off seventh-place 400 medley relay (3:16.44) ... placed 10th in the 200 backstroke (1:47.70) ... led off 10th-place 200 medley relay (1:29.72) and 14th-place 200 free relay (1:24.12) ... finished 27th in the 100 backstroke (49.95).  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Won the 200 backstroke (1:46.67) ... led off second-place 200 medley (1:29.80) and 400 medley (3:17.52) relays ... also led off fourth-place 400 free relay (3:06.53) ... finished third in the 100 backstroke (49.91) ... placed 10th in the 50 free (21.12).  SEASON:  Competed in nine meets ... top time in 200 free (1:45.66) vs. Eastern Michigan (11/2) ... top times in 100 free (46.45; relay leadoff) and 500 free (4:54.38) at Eastern Michigan Invitational (11/30) ... named to the CSCAA Scholar All-American First Team.

2011-12:  NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Earned First Team All-America honors with a sixth-place finish in the 200 backstroke (1:47.40) and was part of two Honorable Mention relays … led off both the 200 medley (1:30.08) and 400 medley (3:19.41) relays … placed 22nd in the 100 backstroke (50.19).  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Won the 200 backstroke and broke the Jenison pool record (1:47.91) … placed fifth in the 100 backstroke (50.53) and won the consolation final (ninth overall) in the 200 freestyle (1:41.83) … led off the third-place 400 medley relay (3:19.94).  SEASON:  Debuted Jan. 7 vs. Grand Valley State … top 50 freestyle time (22.29; relay leadoff) Jan. 20 at Eastern Michigan.
