Kyra Nidds joined the Wayne State University athletic department in June of 2026 as an assistant athletic trainer.

Nidds earned a bachelor's degree in Health and Kinesiology from the University of Utah in 2023, and a master's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Michigan in 2025.

She spent the past year as a Certified Intern at Auburn University working with the women's soccer program.  Nidds had previously completed a 2024 summer internship with the Kansas City Chiefs.

She is a native of Cave Creek, Ariz.
