Biography

2024-25:  2024-25 recipient of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award.  INDOOR:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team ... only competed in the SVSU Holiday Open placing seventh in the high jump (1.56m) ... missed the rest of the season due to an injury.  OUTDOOR:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team ... did not compete in any meets due to an injury ... was redshirted.

2023-24:  INDOOR:  Competed in five meets before the GLIAC Championship ... equaled a season-best mark of 1.58m in the high jump at GLIACs to finish third ... previously had the mark of 1.58m at the SVSU Jet's Pizza Invitational and SVSU Tune-Up ... notched a season-best mark of 9.38m in the triple jump at the SVSU Holiday Open.  OUTDOOR:  Participated in four regular-season meets, plus the GLIAC Championships exclusively in the high jump ... placed 10th at GLIACs with a mark of 1.50m, which was a season-best.  

High School:  A 2023 graduate of Mason High School ... was a three-year letterwinner for the Bulldogs (since 2020 season was canceled due to COVID) and coaches David Jones and Anna VandenBussche ... finished fourth in the high jump at the 2023 MHSAA Division 2 Regional Meet at 4-9 ... won the high jump at the 2022 Capital Area Activities Conference Red Division league championship meet ... set a personal-best in the high jump (5-1) to place second at the MHSAA Division 2 regional meet, then placed 11th at the state meet (4-11) ... set a personal-best in the long jump (15-4) at the 2023 CAAC Red Eastern meet ... competed at the 2021 MHSAA Regional meet in both the 100m dash and 4x100m relay ... also played basketball for MHS and was team captain for two years ... scored 12 points in a win over Okemos in a 2022 district opener ... was a member of the National Honor Society.
