Megan Vondrasek joined the Wayne State University strength and conditioning staff in January of 2024 as a graduate assistant. In addition to work on strength coach Ruben Mendoza's staff with the Fencing and Golf teams, plus the Track & Field Throwers & Sprinters, she is pursuing a master's degree from WSU in Sports Administration.
A native of Owosso, Mich., Vondrasek earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Adrian College in December of 2023. She received academic honors all four years while at Adrian, and previously served as an intern at her alma mater during 2023. In addition, Vondrasek was named a Scholar All-American in 2023 by the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
Vondrasek was a member of the Adrian College women's wrestling team for four years (2020-23). While a student-athlete for the Bruisers, she was an All-American in 2021 and was named team captain for the women's wrestling program in back-to-back seasons (2021-22 and 2022-23).
