Taylor Cutajar joined the Wayne State University Sports Medicine staff in August of 2022 as an assistant athletic trainer and starts his fourth year on staff during the 2025-256 academic year.

His primary sports for the upcoming academic year are football and men's and women's fencing.
Previously, Cutajar served as an athletic trainer for five years with Henry Ford Health, contracted to Lawrence Technological University, where he primarily worked with the Blue Devils Football team.
Prior to working at LTU, Cutajar spent one season as an intern athletic trainer at North Carolina State University, assisting with medical care of the baseball team.
During the 2016 NFL season, Cutajar served as an intern on the athletic training staff for the Detroit Lions. Cutajar was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Ohio University for two years (2014-15 and 2015-16), while earning his master's degree in Athletic Training.
While pursuing his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Western Michigan University, Cutajar worked for the Cleveland Browns during the summer of 2013 as an athletic training intern.  While in Kalamazoo, Cutajar completed clinical rotations for both WMU and Kalamazoo College, and was selected as the 2013 Mid-American Conference Sports Medicine Association Athletic Training Student of the Year.
Cutajar holds additional certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist.
Cutajar and his wife, Katie, reside in Wixom with their twin daughters, Harper and Lola, and son, Jameson.
