Alex Turner joined the volleyball coaching staff as an operations intern in June of 2019. She coordinated administrative tasks associated with camps, preseason, travel and home events.
Turner received her Bachelors' degree in Athletic Training from Saginaw Valley State in 2015 before attending Wayne State University in 2017 and graduated with Masters' degree in Sport Administration in December of 2019.
She was the head coach at Bridgeport High Scholl in 2017 and 2018 and served as a student athletic trainer for the football team in 2016.
Turner was born in Detroit on February 7, 1993, and is the daughter of Calvin and Genovia Turner.
