Amanda Ujkashi joined the Wayne State University sports medicine staff in September of 2018 as a graduate intern. She will serve her second year in that role during the 2019-20 academic year.
She graduated from the University of Michigan in April of 2018 with an athletic training degree and is currently seeking her Master's in Basic Medical Science from Wayne State.
Prior to coming to Detroit, she worked with Michigan's football, softball, men's lacrosse and women's soccer teams. In addition, she also volunteered for the Michigan Special Olympics Fall and Summer Games for three years.
