Autumn Anderson joined the Wayne State University sports medicine staff in January of 2023 as a graduate assistant and served in that role until being hired full-time in the summer of 2024.
Her primary sports for the 2025-26 academic year will be volleyball and softball.
She graduated Cum Laude from Central Michigan in December of 2020 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training. While an undergrad, she did clinical rotations with the CMU football, men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, and field hockey teams as well as the Northwood University men's and women's basketball squads.
Since graduation, Anderson has served as an athletic trainer with the Doctors of Physical Therapy in Novi, serving as an athletic Trainer for Detroit area high schools, including Oak Park HS and Voyageur College Prep Academy.
A native of Eastpointe, she is the daughter of Al and Kimberly Anderson.
