Gregg Anderson joined the Wayne State University Athletic Department as the Assistant Mens Tennis Coach in August of 2026.
Anderson earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Business Analysis from Indiana University in 1985, and a master's degree in Marketing and Finance from Indiana University in 1989, where he was a four-year member of the tennis team and served as a team captain. He ranked top 50 in NCAA D1 doubles during his junior and senior years and was runner-up in the Big10 conference tournament at #6 singles during his sophomore season. Anderson also served as an Assistant Men's Tennis Coach at Indiana University for three years.
He spent the past 30 years working for General Motors where he held roles in Global Product Development/Management, Market Analysis, Market Research, Economic Forcasting, Strategic Planning and Market Development.
Anderson is a native of Blue Earth, Minn. He currently resides in Novi, Mich., with his wife Karyn and three children, Maxx, Tyler and Cole.
