Khaliah McCord joined the Wayne State University Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center (MHRFC) staff in April of 2026 as the Supervisor of Intramurals and Club Sports.
A native of Detroit, McCord spent two years at Central Michigan, before earning a bachelor's degree in Sport Management in the spring of 2023 with honors from Eastern Michigan. Â She served two years as a student manager for both the men's and women's basketball teams at EMU. Â McCord also served as the President of EMU's Sport Management Club during her senior year.
During her prep career at Romulus High School, McCord played basketball and was also a member of the National Honor Society.
McCord is a certified high school and women's collegiate basketball official on the junior college level. Â She started working MHSAA games in 2022.
