Madison Andrews, who joined the Wayne State University volleyball staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2023, finished her third season on Tim Koth's staff in the fall of 2025.
That third campaign for Andrews turned out to be one of the most successful in the Green and Gold's program history. The Warriors' successes in 2025 included, but was not limited to, the following:
- 24-6 overall, 13-3 GLIAC
- First GLIAC Tournament Championship in program history
- Fourth GLIAC Regular-Season Championship and first in 44 years
- Fourth NCAA Tournament Appearance
- Most wins in a season since 1997 (29)
- Most GLIAC victories in a season since 2010 (13)
- Received votes in all but two AVCA Coaches Polls during the season
- No. 2 seed in GLIAC Tournament and No. 4 seed in NCAA Midwest Regional
In 2024, she helped the Warriors earn the No. 4 seed for the GLIAC Tournament and a home quarterfinal match.
An Ann Arbor native, she graduated from Eastern Michigan in December of 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
Andrews was a member of the coaching staff at Chelsea High School for four years (2018-2021) and at Northville High School for one season (2022). She is in her fourth season with L2 Volleyball Club.
Her 2023 summer team (team 162) advanced to the gold challenge match in the 16U Premier Division at AAU Nationals.
