Samantha Friedbauer joined the Wayne State University athletic department in June of 2026 as Development Officer.
A native of Milan, Mich., Friedbauer spent the last seven years at Northern Arizona most recently serving as the Associate AD for Fan Engagement and Revenue Generation. Â She previously was the Director of Fan Engagement after beginning her career at NAU as a graduate assistant in the athletics marketing department in 2019.
Friedbauer earned a bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Eastern Michigan in 2019, and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from NAU in 2021.
She and her husband Zach reside in metro Detroit.
