Named the 2011 GLIAC Women’s Tennis “Athlete of the Year” in voting by the league’s head coaches on Sunday ... capped off first half of the 2011-12 season, going 4-1 at the GLIAC Tournament and earning First-Team All-GLIAC honors for the third straight year ... posted a 17-2 record including an 11-1 conference mark during the fall season ... competing at No. 1 doubles, went 15-4 overall and 10-2 in league play with freshman Daniela Garcia-Diaz ... needs six singles wins to equal Sharon Gill’s (2007-11) school record mark of 84 ... three doubles wins away from tying Gill as WSU’s all-time leader.
