Senior guard Chene Phillips (Detriot, Mich. / Renaissance) led WSU with 25 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals at Saginaw Valley in a 68-61 win on Saturday. He went 11-for-16 from the free-throw line at SVSU. On Thursday, he paced the Green & Gold with 16 points at Northwood. Phillips leads the conference in minutes per game (36.1) and ranks eighth in assists (55).
