Highlighted by a first-place finish by junior Irvin Wyche, the Wayne State University men's cross country team took home third out of 12 overall Saturday at the 28th annual Detroit Titan Invitational, held at Cass-Benton Park. Wyche (Chesterfield, Mich. / L'Anse Creuse North) took home hist first career race-victory by completing the four-mile event with a time of 20:20.76. The Warriors finished with 64 points overall in their season-opening meet to finish just behind Bucknell (38) and Eastern Michigan (56). WSU finished ahead of Division I schools Detroit (90) and Oakland (148).
