Wayne State hosted the NCAA Midwest Regionals on Saturday and Junior Ziad Elsissy (Alexandria, Egypt) dominated competition as the only member of the Warrior sabre team to qualify for Regionals. Elsissy posted an outstanding 10-1 record with a +32-touch indicator score (54-22). His performance qualifies him to participate in the NCAA Championships later this month.
