Redshirt senior captain Andreea Mitrache (Sterling Heights, Mich. / Warren Cousino) helped the women's tennis team win both of its matches last weekend to improve to 16-8 overall.  Playing at the top flight of singles, Mitrache won in straight sets on Saturday over Begona Gomar of Wilmington and topped Jarka Petercakova of 24th-ranked Indiana (Pa.) 6-3, 6-2 on Sunday.

She paired with senior Liz Ghellere at No. 2 doubles to win 8-2 on Saturday and 8-1 on Sunday.
