Senior infielder Hannah McClounie (Essex, Ont.) helped the Wayne State softball team start the NTC Spring games 4-0.  She batted .462 (6-for-13) with a walk for a .500 on-base percentage.  McClounie scored the first run of the Tiffin game with a triple in the top of the first.  She singled and scored in the fifth to help seal the victory.  In the Findlay win, she reached on a sac bunt and scored on a double steal to make it 2-0 in the first inning.  McClounie singled and scored in the fifth against No. 23-Southern New Hampshire to make it 2-0.  Her first home run of the season, leading off the top of the seventh, tied the SNH contest at 3-3 (which WSU won 4-3 in 8).  She singled and scored the first run of the Slippery Rock game, then walked and scored to pull WSU within 3-2.  McClounie had 11 total bases on the weekend for an .846 slugging percentage.
