Senior pitcher Megan Guitar tossed a pair of shutouts last week. She blanked Saginaw Valley on five hits, then held Ashland scoreless on seven hits. Guitar struck out seven and did not walk a batter in 14 innings.

Defensively in the circle, she was perfect in six chances (3 putouts, 3 assists) and even made a diving catch on a bunt that turned into a double play.

She was named GLIAC Pitcher of the Week for her efforts.
