Wayne State University Athletics

 The Wayne State University women's swimming & diving team kicked off the new season the right way, taking care of Ashland and Davenport. The Warriors defeated Ashland 180-58, while topping Davenport 136-106. 

In the 1000 free, Jordan Fox (Melbourne, Australia) earned the top time, posting a 10:47.60. The second-place finisher was more than 10 seconds behind. Fox was also solid in the 100 back, picking up the win with a time of 59.19.  Fox also helped the 400 free relay win, as the team of Isidora Sekaric, Sabine Branford, Fox and Megan Sieloff (Grand Blanc, Mich.) posted a time of 3:38.89.
