The Wayne State University men's cross country team finished 15th at the Division II National Championships on Saturday. It was the Warriors' first appearance in the national meet since 2008. The 15th-place finish was tied for the sixth best in program history.

As he has all season, sophomore Ransom Allen (Ithaca, Mich.) paced the Warriors, finishing 25th overall (22nd in team scoring) with a time of 31:07.0. That was good for All-American honors via the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The USTFCCA states that the top 40 runners earn that honor.
