On Jan. 22 against Division 1 Oakland, Mueller set the pool record in the 100 free, posting a time of 44.32.  He also took third in the 100 back, touching out in 52.88.  In his second day of action against Oakland on Jan. 23, Mueller placed second in the 50 back (23.80) and 100 free (46.27), while also helping the 400 free relay team finish first with a time of 3:02.10.
