Paige Ameel was a workhorse for the Warriors on the mound this past week, pitching in three games and only allowing six earned runs. Against Findlay on March 30th, she was hit with the loss after only allowing two runs, while striking out six in six innings of work.
In her next outing at home versus Ferris State, Ameel collected a win, as she tossed a complete game. She struck out seven in the Warriors' 6-3 victory. In her final appearance of the week, Ameel was again hit with a tough loss. She allowed one run against Parkside and struck out nine Rangers in a 1-0 defeat.Â
