Niklas Karcz made history and helped the men's tennis team lock up at least a share of the GLIAC regular-season championship. The Warriors have a chance to win the outright title on April 23rd against Northwood.Â
On April 15th against Grand Valley State, Karcz was terrific at No. 3 singles, defeating his opponent 6-3, 6-2. He also paired with Ben Lakeman to collect a 6-1 victory at No. 3 doubles.Â
The following day against Ferris State, Karcz broke the school's career record for singles wins by defeating the No. 70-ranked player Yannic Mader, 6-4, 6-3. He again paired with Lakeman to win at No. 3 doubles, 6-2.Â
