Anais Ruyssen helped the Warriors grab at least a share of the GLIAC regular-season championship by collecting two wins against Grand Valley State and Ferris State over the weekend. The Warriors can win the outright title by defeating Northwood on April 23rd.Â
Ruyssen was terrific throughout the weekend matches, earning a 4-0 record between singles and doubles. Against GVSU, she took down her opponent at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-2. She also teamed up with Marta Komar to win 6-2 at No. 1 doubles.Â
The following day against Ferris State, Ruyssen defeated the Bulldogs' top player, 6-0, 7-5. She also paired with Komar at No. 1 doubles to record a 6-1 victory.Â
