Ransom Allen defeated 459 other finishing runners to win the eight-kilometer Men's Maroon Race at the 37th Roy Griak Invitational on Friday.  Allen's race-winning time of 25:18.40 was just over 10 seconds faster than the runner-up, Ryan Hartman from Augustana (25:29.00).  It's the second-consecutive victory for the graduate student, following his triumph at the Warrior Challenge last Friday in New Boston, Mich.  The win was his fourth as a Warrior and first in a race that was not the Warrior Challenge, the event that WSU hosts at Willow Metropark.
